- Scope of Services: 1.1 HomeShield England (referred to as “the Company”) specializes in the supply and installation of HVAC systems, double glazing, bifolding doors, conservatories, porches, and related products (collectively referred to as “Products”). 1.2 These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by the Company to its customers (“Customers”).
- Quotations and Orders: 2.1 All quotations provided by the Company are subject to change and are valid for a period of 30 days unless otherwise stated. 2.2 Orders placed by Customers are considered binding once accepted by the Company.
- Payment: 3.1 Customers agree to pay the full amount stated on the invoice provided by the Company. 3.2 Payment is due upon completion of the installation unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. 3.3 Failure to make payment in full may result in additional charges and/or legal action to recover outstanding amounts.
- Installation: 4.1 The Company will use reasonable efforts to install Products in a timely manner. 4.2 Customers must ensure that adequate access is provided to the installation site and that any necessary permissions or authorizations are obtained. 4.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse installation if, in its reasonable opinion, the installation site is deemed unsuitable or unsafe.
- Warranty: 5.1 The Company warrants that Products supplied and installed will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of [insert warranty period]. 5.2 Any warranty claims must be made in writing within the warranty period and will be subject to inspection by the Company. 5.3 The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or acts of nature.
- Cancellation: 6.1 Customers may cancel their order within 14 days of placing it, provided that no work has commenced. 6.2 Cancellations made after this period may incur charges to cover any costs incurred by the Company.
- Limitation of Liability: 7.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the provision of its services. 7.2 The total liability of the Company, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the Products and services provided.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction: 8.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 8.2 Any disputes arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
- Severability: 9.1 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed from the remainder of the Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
- Amendments: 10.1 The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time by providing notice to Customers. 10.2 Amendments shall be effective upon notice and shall apply to all future orders placed by Customers.
By engaging with HomeShield England, Customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
